The Solveig Anspach Prize was created in 2016 as a tribute to director Solveig Anspach.

This prize was created to reward a young director of short films.

In the first year, we only gave out one prize.

But, for 2 years, two directors have been rewarded: one for a short film in French (which is invited to Iceland in January 2022) and one for a short film in Icelandic. 

Applications can be sent until October 30, 2021, 11:00 p.m.
