China News Service, Hangzhou, October 25 (Zhang Yuhuan and Wei Yanran) For Xie Meixia, a sanitation worker in charge of urban public toilet cleaning, she has been working on the front line of sanitation for ten years, and her sight is mostly limited to the "one-acre three-part land" of public toilets. It is an "unexpected enjoyment" to be able to sit on the hotel terrace overlooking the West Lake and enjoy the beautiful food in an autumn afternoon.

On the eve of the 25th Sanitation Workers' Day in Zhejiang Province, a charity event called "City Warmth in the Orange Heart and Hangzhou's Care for Sanitation Workers' Love Together" was recently held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang.

Xie Meixia and 99 other sanitation workers were invited to the hotel by the West Lake to enjoy exclusive "holiday cakes" and "love noodles" to spend an unforgettable "special holiday" together.

At the event site, 100 sanitation workers formed a table with 10 people each. On the table, there were "love noodles", cakes, yogurt, fruits and other delicacies, with laughter one after another.

The one who smiled the most was Liu Rongzhu from Quzhou, Zhejiang. She said, “Hangzhou is a city with a human touch. We usually deal with lunch casually. The person in charge of the'Love Meal' just told us that today’s food is all about eating. ,'You can't walk if you don't have enough food'."

"I have been working in Hangzhou for 13 years and I bought a house here. Where can I go?" Liu Rongzhu said.

About 30 years ago, Xie Meixia came to Hangzhou from her hometown in Siyang, Jiangsu, claiming that she "spent half of her life in Hangzhou".

She joined the sanitation industry in 2011, and it took ten years to do first-line cleaning work. "When I returned to my hometown, I looked at the city streets over there and I was not familiar with Hangzhou."

Her husband has also worked in Hangzhou for decades. The "sanitation couple" also bought a house with their hardworking hands and became a new Hangzhou native who lives and enjoys life.

"Now my children are also going to school here. Hangzhou's tolerance and warmth make me fall in love with it deeply. I will work here until I retire."

Behind a short lunch is the warm conveyance of a city that has lasted for many years.

In order to allow more sanitation workers to feel this care, the Hangzhou Urban Management Bureau and Hangzhou Business Travel Group signed a cooperation agreement on the "Urban Management Sanitation Love Point" on the site, and a total of 50 "Urban Management Sanitation Love Points" were built, covering Hangzhou. 10 districts and counties, let this warmth continue to spread in the city.

"Sanitation workers go out early and return late every day, eating and sleeping, and sometimes eating and drinking water at noon are problems. The'Urban Management Sanitation Love Point' allows them to eat hot meals and drink hot water when working outside, and also provide shelter in windy and rainy weather. A place protected from wind and rain." said Liu Qing, deputy secretary of the Hangzhou Environmental Sanitation and Solid Waste Disposal Guarantee Center.

It is understood that in addition to temporary rest areas, food refrigeration and heating, and water heaters, the "Urban Management Sanitation Love Point" also has personalized facilities such as shared umbrellas, mobile phone charging, and emergency medicine.

Shao Weihua, deputy director of the Hangzhou Urban Management Bureau, said that Hangzhou has been rated as the most happiest city in China for 14 consecutive years, and this "happiness" is also inseparable from the contributions of 25,000 urban beauticians.

"As an indispensable part of the city, they persevere day and night to decorate the city more beautifully."

The frost has passed, and the winter is approaching with silent steps.

The sanitation workers who enjoyed the perfect sceneries gradually disappeared and returned to their posts.

They continue to serve this city silently, and at the same time believe that this city will get better and better, and their lives will get better and better.
