The Central African Republic.

Country bruised by untimely political and military crises, by repeated coups d'état since its independence.

A territory of Central Africa with a particularly rich subsoil, which we only talk about when we talk about the violence and wars taking place there or the escapades of some of its leaders.

In 2013, the United Nations placed the Central African Republic under an embargo, and prohibited anyone from selling or supplying it with arms.

Eight years after this decision of the Security Council supposed to limit the killings, what results?

While the rebel factions and the government continue to clash, is the embargo renewed in July by the UN still justified?

Can we raise it with an army bloodless, ill-trained and without means in the face of a rebellion far from surrender?

With our guests:

- Sylvie Baïpo-Temon

, Minister of Foreign Affairs

- Charles Armel Doubane,

former Minister of Foreign Affairs and former Ambassador of the CAR to the UN

- Maître Crepin Mboli Goumba,

president of the Fatherland party, former minister and presidential candidate of 2020

- Gervais Lakosso

, coordinator of the Civil Society Working Group.
