On October 24, at a press conference on the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic in Beijing, Pan Xuhong, deputy director and spokesperson of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, reported three typical cases and related situations.
In case 1, two people experienced sore throat and fever after returning to Beijing from Ejina Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. They still ate out and invited many people to their residence to play mahjong.
After their travel destination was upgraded to a medium-risk area, the two people still did not take the initiative to report, and did not go to a regular hospital for nucleic acid testing and regular medical treatment.
At present, five of the people who played mahjong together have been diagnosed, and the public security organs have filed a criminal case for the above two people for investigation.
At the same time, Pan Xuhong informed that the two persons in charge of a pharmacy in Changping were suspected of selling drugs in violation of epidemic prevention regulations and that they had been filed for investigation.
During the period when Hongfuyuan Community in Changping District adopted epidemic containment and control measures, two people violated management regulations and went out without authorization. They have also been investigated by criminal cases.
