On October 24, 1911, the Soviet theater and film actor Arkady Raikin was born. He became world famous as a pop artist, performer of feuilletons and monologues. Due to the variety of vivid images and the ability to convey the emotions of the actor, the actor was more than once compared to Charlie Chaplin, and the newspaper The Times called Raikin a "comic genius." In 1991, the name of Arkady Raikin was given to the theater "Satyricon".
