In an accident with so-called hot rod vehicles, three people were seriously injured on Saturday afternoon near Konstanz.
According to the police, a group of seven drivers and two tour guides were traveling on the K6119 between Eckartsbrunn and Honstetten when one hot rod struck another during an overtaking maneuver and then overturned several times.
The driver behind it applied emergency braking, but was hit again by the hot rod driver behind him.
All three had to be taken to hospitals, seriously injured.
According to the police, one person was flown to a hospital in a rescue helicopter.
The hot rods, which are reminiscent of motorized soapboxes, suffered a total damage of around 40,000 euros.
The accident caused a large number of fire and rescue services.
The road was closed for around three hours.
