NASA announced its intention to launch the Artemis mission to the Moon in February 2022

It is noted that as part of the mission, the launch of the Space Launch System and the Orion spacecraft in unmanned mode is expected to be carried out from 12 to 27 February.

According to him, the Orion flight will last from four to six weeks, depending on the change in the launch date.

The test flight should demonstrate the readiness of the rocket and spacecraft to carry out a manned mission to the Moon.

Earlier it was reported that NASA is evaluating the budget and schedule of the lunar program "Artemis".
