Fabulous Binga FC!

The Malian second division club continues its adventure in the Confederation Cup (C2).

The Bamako team went to wrest their place in the C2 framing tour, this October 23, 2021 in Abidjan.

Beaten at home 1-0 in the first leg, the Malians returned the favor to ASFA Yennenga on Saturday.

Tied over all of the two matches, the teams were then decided on penalties.

And the visitors took the best 7-6 over the Burkinabè.

In the next round, Binga FC will face a club eliminated from the Champions League, as will Coton Sport Garoua.

The northern Cameroon club, however, almost did not pass.

Facing Botswana's Orapa United, he owed his salvation to a narrow 1-0 victory in the return (goal scored in the 89th minute) and a goal scored in Botswana (2-1 loss) in the first leg.

It remains for Binga FC and Coton Sport Garoua to know their opponents for the framing round.

Its draw is scheduled for October 26 in Cairo.
