Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture, is trying to support people with "no family register" who are suffering various disadvantages such as going on to school or getting a job because they live without a family register without being notified of their birth. For the first time, we have set up a dedicated consultation dial and window.

It seems that many "non-family register" people who do not have a family register did not file a birth certificate in order to avoid the relationship with their divorced husband, and suffered various disadvantages in their lives such as going on to school and getting a job. Being a social problem has become a social problem.

To support these people, Matsudo City has set up a dedicated consultation dial and window from this month.

In addition to providing guidance on procedures such as administrative services and introducing lawyers, applicants do not have a family register so that they do not have to explain that they do not have a family register each time they visit the city hall. We are also working to reduce the mental burden by issuing a "support card" to show that.

The city has decided to provide various administrative services such as distribution of vaccination tickets for the new coronavirus without a family register, and says, "If you are in trouble, please feel free to contact us."

The dedicated consultation dial is 047-710-6080 and is available from 8:30 am to 5 pm on weekdays.
