Jökulsárlón, the glacier lagoon, is popular with tourists to the island.
As it melts, the glacier lets loose small icebergs that float on the lagoon, before washing up in debris on the diamond beach, so named because on this black volcanic beach, the white shards shine like diamonds.
Many animals like seals or sea birds are present.
And when night falls, there's a good chance the sky will light up with an Aurora Borealis.
