Recently, the staff of the Management Office of Xuanzhou National Wetland Park in Hengshan, Hunan accidentally discovered the gray crane, a national second-class protected animal, during their daily patrols. This is the first time that this species of bird has been spotted in this wetland park.

  On the sandbars of the Yonghe section of the Xiangjiang River in Xuanzhou National Wetland Park, the gray cranes wandered in the garden, sometimes spreading their wings and hovering, and sometimes landed on the nearby river beach to rest and feed, adding vitality to the wetland park.

  Grey cranes have gray plumage and bright red skin on their heads. They live in open plains, grasslands, swamps, river beaches, wilderness, lakes, and farmland areas. Among them, they like open lakes and swamps rich in waterside plants. -10 more than small group activities.
