The International Contemporary Art Fair (FIAC), which took place virtually in March due to Covid-19, is making a strong comeback on the ground and online from October 21 to 24, in Paris.

A 47th edition in a new site, the ephemeral Grand Palais, of 10,000 m2, designed by the architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte and installed near the Military School in the perspective of the Eiffel Tower, which hosts 174 galleries from 25 countries .

It was inaugurated in June to house the fairs and exhibitions that were usually held at the Grand Palais, under construction.

  • The International Contemporary Art Fair (FIAC), which took place virtually in March due to the Covid, is back in force from October 21 to 24, at the ephemeral Grand Palais, in Paris.

  • Designed by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, the building houses 174 galleries from 25 countries.

  • A light additional structure is added to offer the FIAC up to 18,000 m2 of additional exhibition space.

  • And the Jardin des Tuileries receives the works of 25 artists in the open air within the framework of the FIAC “outside the walls”.

  • But some prefer to look at their smartphone to the despair of the works

    !

  • In 1963, the artist Christo already had a predisposition for packaging!

  • Make no mistake!

This John sculpture of Andrea is not a real person!

  • On the other hand, this visitor is very much alive!

  • We also meet some pretty circles from Matt Mullican!

  • And a beautiful Ann Janssens sun visor.

It's on the other side madam!

  • We end our walk in the middle of contemporary art with a very personal representation of Emmanuel Macron by the Chinese artist Wang Du.
