Aba Prefecture is the main area of the Yellow River Basin in Sichuan, involving Zoige County, Aba County, Hongyuan County, and Songpan County. The basin covers an area of 17,000 square kilometers, accounting for 90.9% of the area of the Yellow River Basin in the province.
