On October 21, 2021, 37 rare birds, the Chinese Crested Tern, appeared in the Red Island section of the Jiaozhou Bay Ocean Park in Qingdao City, Shandong Province, adding a bright color to the migratory bird migration season.

It is understood that the Chinese crested tern, also known as the black-billed crested tern, is one of the critically endangered bird species. The number of the Chinese crested tern currently exceeds 100.

Due to the scarcity of the population, it is rare to see it, so it is called "the bird of myth" by ornithologists.
