A submachine gun, an assault rifle, two rifles, three grenades… Category A, B and C weapons, some of which “stocked” and “ready for immediate use” were discovered in the Loire department, in during several searches, Monday, in activists of the movement "ultra-right survivalist".
The operation was carried out in connection with the anti-terrorism prosecution of Paris, we learned this Thursday from the prosecution of Saint-Etienne.
"A large police force has been mobilized", indicates David Charmatz, the public prosecutor.
The PJ of Saint-Etienne was also supported by the anti-terrorism group of Lyon, the RAID but also the BRI.
Suspects with no criminal records
The intelligence targeted three individuals: a 49-year-old woman and two men, aged 22 and 32, residing in Saint-Etienne, Bessat and Saint-Genest-Malifaux.
Their homes and a business in which they worked were searched.
2,500 ammunition was seized from the woman's home.
In the absence of elements "capable of characterizing a planned attack", the Saint-Etienne prosecutor's office was seized of the case.
At the end of their police custody which ended on Wednesday, the three suspects, with blank criminal records, were indicted for illegal acquisition and unauthorized possession of weapons.
The 32-year-old man, considered the leader, was remanded in custody.
The other two are under judicial control.
