[Explanation] On October 20th, the first World Aviation Conference was held in Hong Kong.

The conference was led by the China Merchants Group, a central enterprise in Hong Kong, and was jointly organized by the Baltic International Chamber of Shipping (BIMCO), the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS), and the Hong Kong Shipowners Association (HKSOA).

With the theme of "Mutual Benefit and Symbiosis, Connecting the Future", it aims to promote the implementation of the national "14th Five-Year Plan" in Hong Kong and give full play to Hong Kong's status as an international shipping center.

He pointed out that as a basic, leading, strategic and service industry, the shipping industry has an important position and role in the development of the national economy and foreign trade.

It is hoped that Hong Kong will take this conference as an opportunity to further utilize its advantages in the concentration of shipping elements and further play a greater role in promoting communication and exchanges between global shipping companies.
