On October 21, the signing ceremony of the agreement on establishing sister city relations between Fuzhou City and Honolulu, USA was held via video.

The mayors of the two cities jointly signed the "Sister City Relations Agreement", and the Fuzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and the Honolulu Municipal Bureau of Culture and Art, Fuzhou No. 3 Middle School and Iolani School respectively signed a memorandum of understanding on the development of friendly relations.

  In recent years, Fuzhou and Honolulu have been in close contact and frequent exchanges. They have carried out exchanges and cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, culture, education, and health, and have achieved gratifying results.

The industries of the two cities are highly compatible, highly complementary, and have broad prospects for cooperation.

  In the future, the two cities will take the establishment of a friendship city relationship as a new starting point, carry out practical cooperation in a broader field and at a higher level, and write a new chapter of friendly exchanges and mutual benefit between the two cities.
