Guiyang Rail Transit Line 2 (hereinafter referred to as Line 2) public art series (station cultural landscape project) recently won the 2021 American MUSE Design Award (Muse Design Award) interior design gold award in one fell swoop.
On October 21, the reporter punched in Line 2 to appreciate the station landscape with rich regional and cultural characteristics.
The award-winning cultural landscape of Line 2 station involves 5 stations, namely "Ecological City" Quanhu Park Station, "Transportation Building Dreams" Yan'an West Road Station, "Longchang Enlightenment" Yangming Temple Station, and "Guiyang Shi Scenery" Baoshan South Road Station and "Welcome to Colorful Guizhou" Airport Station.
Among the cultural landscapes of these stations, some combine ceramic reliefs and glaze paintings to vividly restore the achievements of modern transportation construction in Guizhou such as aviation, high-speed rail, bridges, and subway construction; some use white marble carvings. Artistically shows the philosophical life of Mr. Wang Yangming, a great scholar of the Ming Dynasty; there are also ten iconic tourist attractions in Guiyang that are made of composite glass carvings and brass etchings.
Many passengers were attracted by the cultural landscape of the station and stopped to take pictures.
