"Life is a second": Irina Rozanova on working in a pandemic, filming in prisons and new roles

- I watched a French TV series, but for a long time.

Of course, this is a stylish, beautiful project.

But our show will have more storylines and overall it will be more emotional.  

Once I watched "The Silence of the Lambs" with Anthony Hopkins, and he turned out to be the strongest for me that I would not watch later.

You know how it happens - a strong first impression!

I wanted to focus more on this Hannibal Lecter.

- Everything that concerns the human line, motherhood, the loss of a child as such, here we can talk for a long time about relationships.

As for the dismemberment and all the horrors that Zhanna committed, she committed them consciously and very “professionally”, even with some degree of detail, sadism ... If she herself had not confessed, she might not have been found for a long time.

An intelligent woman who knows how to manipulate people, calculate like a chess player many moves ahead. 

She offers to help investigate the copycat case.

In the first episode there is a scene with Sasha Maryin, who plays an experienced investigator: "If you could not pin me down, why do you think that you can handle my imitator?"

And he stipulates that the investigation should be conducted by her son, whom they have not seen for 20 years.  

As for dismemberment ... Of course, this is beyond the comprehension of a sane person.

This is a broken psyche, insanity, illness.

I really love the screenwriter Anya Kozlova, she is always interesting and does not write superficially.

She had a job - the series "Garden Ring", I really love my role in it.

Anya is a screenwriter and Females of the Mantis. 

In "The Female" there is an episode when the son recalls the past, Zhanna replies: "Don't tell me about it!"

Such feelings arise in me that I cannot control myself. "

My heroine says that a beast wakes up in her, which sees nothing: neither life, nor son.

How should we relate to this?

What is happening to people?

I would like to ask the audience. 

- Could the fate of Zhanna Dronova turn out differently?

- I can't say everything, the series has just begun.

I know what will happen next and I know the reason for her scrapping.

It will be even stronger.

- In the 1990s, you starred in the drama I Trust in You, where you got the role of a cruel orphanage teacher.

Has your past experience helped you create a violent character?

- Years are not enough for me, and in my life there was not only this role.

Once, Armen Borisovich Dzhigarkhanyan and I were filming in real prisons.

We changed clothes and made up in the first-aid post, the doctors told us: "Where you sit, you can touch everything, and when you leave the first-aid post, you don't need to touch anything."

Was filmed in a camera with a real bucket - excuse me, but how else to say?

There was nothing to play there, everything from life. 

She performed in the women's zone.

At one time, she starred enough and performed in pre-trial detention centers, where living people with their own stories, much more terrible than in movies and TV shows - you don't have to invent anything.

- Soon, the KION online cinema will start showing the series "Father Sergius", another project with your participation.

How did the filming go?

What are your impressions of them?

- I only had one day of shooting on this project.

Of course, in one day it was difficult to understand the whole phantasmagoria that the guys came up with.

But the series was marked with an award at the Pilot television series festival, which Valera Todorovsky conducts in Ivanovo. 

Recently a teaser was released, I watched it and said to the director: "Kirill, this is something very interesting and something very cool."

In my opinion, the guys did an interesting thing. 

- You play Mother, a church worker who exists in a world filled with evil spirits and evil.

What do you think helps your character remain faithful?

- In this picture, it is clearly defined that black is black.

White is white.

- Have there been any events in your life that you could describe as a miracle?

- Life is already a miracle.

Every day is a miracle, because you don't know what will happen next.

- In 2021, at least five projects were released with your participation.

How do you deal with such a schedule?

Do you have time to rest?

- I have an anniversary this year, I turned 60.

It's a miracle that at my age I'm still a popular actress, interesting roles come to me.

And that, first of all, the viewer needs me.

I am madly in love with my profession, which was presented to me by my parents - actors.

She brings me pleasure and buzz.

- Has your attitude to work changed after the pandemic?

- Neither the attitude towards work, nor the attitude towards life has changed.

It's just that a pandemic is a big terrible reminder that life is a second.

I try to find joy in everything.

Now I am filming in the Crimea in the comedy "Detox".

Three mothers - Larisa Guzeeva, Julia Sules and me.

And three daughters: Marina Petrenko, Alina Alekseeva and Anya Zaikova.

Sitcom.

The daughters came to rest, and the mothers followed them.

And here I get such pleasure from the sea, from life! ..

- Always different.

If there is a small role, but I understand that a good team - I agree.

I play different roles, there are episodes, they can be very interesting.

Of course, I look at the material, the team ...

There are planned filming, I hope they will take place.

Who knows what will happen.

We really are now in such a position that everyone can fall down and fall out of the process, there is no way to go.

I would like to wish only health and health.

- During your career, you have played many roles.

Do you still have any unfulfilled desires?

- I have never had such desires.

Probably because I grew up in the theater, behind the scenes.

I have seen a large number of different destinies since childhood.

An age has come to me, which sometimes sounds strange to me.

I sit, thinking: "This is so much, this is 6 and 0 - sixty!"

As a child, I did not imagine this figure.

It seemed that 60 is something solid.

And there are people who at 50 and 40 feel this way.

I want work to come to me with good directors and a team.

And someone specific to play?

I already have quite an interesting repertoire, I'm not complaining.

It is always interesting to work with young directors, we have a lot of them now.

Life is always new blood, new movement.
