On October 19th, in Leiwuqi County, Tibet Autonomous Region, local residents danced on the wall to sing a new life in peace and contentment.

The wall dancing is the most original song and dance. During the performance, the dancers hold wooden sticks and wave them up and down, matching the changes of the dance steps under their feet, simulating the action of ramming the walls when the Tibetans are building houses.

Wall dance is generally performed by men and women in unison, creating a warm and happy life atmosphere.

In 2020, the wall dance was officially included in the county-level intangible cultural heritage of Leiwuqi County.
