Launched at the beginning of April 2021, the free Radioplayer France application brings together 230 radios and 700 webradios on a common platform.
On the occasion of its six months of existence, Radioplayer France takes stock of its activity and announces the imminent arrival of a new feature.
200 radios, 600 webradios and thousands of podcasts gathered on the platform of a free application.
This was the promise, kept, by Radioplayer France, which now has 230 radios and 700 webradios.
The platform, announced at the end of 2020 and launched on April 8 by several French audiovisual groups including Lagardère News to which Europe 1 belongs, draws up an initial assessment after six months of existence.
In half a year, Radioplayer France recorded 250,000 downloads.
The application lists 3 million listening sessions in September.

The crucial issue of car radios
For this semi-anniversary, the application announces a new feature for certain radios, such as the possibility of rewinding up to 4 hours before.
This would allow, for example, to resume a program at the beginning, if you arrive in the middle of the program.
Radioplayer France also promises more podcasts and a new display with more information.
It is also working on a major project: being present in cars, where it aims to "become the default offer".
The stakes are high, because nearly one in three French people listens to the radio in their car.
