Small services or a real lucrative network?
After the discovery of the circulation of a hundred fake health passes near Toulouse, the prosecution indicates that a dozen people suspected of being involved in this traffic were arrested this Wednesday morning by the gendarmes and placed in custody on sight.
The passes were reportedly issued by people working in the Muret vaccination center, some 25 kilometers southwest of the Pink City.
“Investigations will tell if it is a network or not.
It is still too early to say if it is a real organization, ”adds the Toulouse prosecutor's office.
But investigators in the research section suspect that the sesame was handed over for a fee.
Caregivers among the beneficiaries
According to
La Dépêche du Midi
, which revealed the case, it was health professionals working in the center who realized that their identifiers had been used.
The investigation focuses on a young 20-year-old volunteer and it has already made it possible to trace the beneficiaries of these fake passes, among whom we find caregivers.
On September 23, the Health Insurance had indicated that 350 procedures were underway throughout France concerning the alleged issuance of around 36,000 false health passes.
