China News Service, October 19 According to the website of the Central Meteorological Observatory, from the 19th to the 20th, there was a rain and snow on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau from west to east.

From the 19th to the 22nd, there were light to moderate rains in the southeastern part of the northwestern region, the southwestern region, the western Huanghuai region, Jianghan, Jianghuai, Jiangnan, and southern China. There were heavy rains in some areas and local heavy rains.

Rain and snow on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau

  From the 19th to the 20th, there was a rain and snow on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau from west to east.

There were light to moderate rains in Tibet, Qinghai, Gansu, and the Western Sichuan Plateau. Among them, there were light to moderate snow or sleet in parts of western and northern Tibet, central and southern Qinghai, and southwestern Gansu, and local areas were heavy to heavy snow. The maximum accumulated precipitation can reach 10-25 mm, and the snowfall mainly occurs at night, and during the daytime it is mainly rain.

Significant rainfall in Jiangnan, South China and other places in Southwest China

  From the 19th to the 22nd, there were light to moderate rains in the southeastern part of the northwestern region, the southwestern region, the western Huanghuai region, Jianghan, Jianghuai, Jiangnan, and southern China. There were heavy rains in some areas and local heavy rains.

Specific forecasts for the next three days

  From 08:00 on October 19 to 08:00 on the 20th, there was light to moderate snow in parts of the Kunlun Mountains in Xinjiang, northern Tibet, most of Qinghai, and Hexi of Gansu. Among them, there were some areas in northern Tibet, northern Qinghai, and central China. Big to Blizzard (10-17 mm).

There was light to moderate rain in parts of southern Tibet, eastern Northwest China, western North China, western Huanghuai, most of Jianghuai, Jianghan, most of Jiangnan, northern Sichuan Plateau, eastern Southwest, and western South China. Among them, southern Shaanxi and Henan There was heavy rain (25-30 mm) in the western part of the country.

There are 4 to 5 winds in parts of Liaodong Peninsula, northern North China, southern Shaanxi, Shandong Peninsula, western Huanghuai and other places (see Figure 1).

  From 08:00 on October 20th to 08:00 on 21st, there was light to moderate snow or sleet in parts of central Tibet, southern Qinghai and northeastern parts.

There were moderate to heavy rains in parts of eastern Tibet, western Jianghuai, eastern Jianghan, most of Jiangnan, central and eastern Guizhou, and western southern China. Among them, there was heavy rain (50-55 mm) in the northern part of Zhejiang.

There are 4 to 5 winds in parts of central Inner Mongolia, northwestern Jiangxi, and northern Zhejiang (see Figure 2).

  From 08:00 on October 21st to 08:00 on 22nd, there was light snow or sleet in parts of the mountainous areas in western Xinjiang and southern Qinghai.

There were light to moderate rains in parts of eastern Tibet, most of southwestern regions, Jiangnan, and southern China. Among them, there were heavy rains (25-45 mm) in parts of southeastern Tibet, southern Sichuan Plateau, western and southern Yunnan, etc.

There are 4 to 6 winds in parts of central Inner Mongolia, the Liaodong Peninsula, and the southeastern coast of Guangxi (see Figure 3).

Influence and concern

  The adverse effects of strong rain and snow on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau from the 19th to the 20th on transportation, agriculture and animal husbandry;

  Pay attention to the weather and impact of rainfall in eastern Northwest China, Southwest China, Jiangnan, South China and other places from 19 to 22;

  Pay attention to the continued low temperature and its impact in the central and eastern regions.
