Real-time water conditions showed that at 14:00 on October 19, the water level of the Three Gorges Reservoir was 173.55 meters, which was only 1.45 meters away from the target storage level of 175 meters, and the water storage entered the final sprint stage.
Due to the low incoming water in the early stage, the Three Gorges Reservoir combined with the use of flood interception to raise the water storage level. The 2021 water storage work was officially launched on September 10, and the storage is scheduled to be full in late October to complete the first water storage task after the completion of the Three Gorges Project.
