On October 17, the primitive Populus euphratica on the southeastern edge of the Taklimakan Desert in Bayingoleng, Xinjiang, grew well, giving rise to a vibrant scene.

The 34th Regiment of the Second Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps adhered to the management of landscapes, forests, fields, lakes, grasses and sand, resolutely implemented the river chief system and the deployment of the forest chief system, and realized that the rivers were patrolled and the forests were protected, and the ecological environment restoration had achieved remarkable results.

Today, more than 50 kilometers of the Tarim River passes through the area, and Populus euphratica is rejuvenated, bringing picturesque autumn scenery, attracting tourists from all directions to stop and admire.
