From October 26 until October 31, the Musée du Quai Branly-Jacques Chirac presents to the public the exhibition: "
Benin, the restitution of 26 works from the royal treasures of Abomey
" before their final return to their country of origin.
The time for restitution seems to have sounded, after the Savoy-Sarr researchers' report in 2018 commissioned by the Élysée, and a year after the vote by Parliament of a law derogating from the French Heritage Code organizing the transfer of property works.
