Postponing the attendance return for students under 12 years old in Saudi Arabia

The official spokesman for public education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia revealed the postponement of the attendance of male and female students under 12 years of age, scheduled for October 31, 2021, until the completion of scientific studies related to the epidemiological risks of this category, in order to preserve their safety and the safety of their families.

The spokesman explained that the Ministry of Education will continue its efforts to provide distance education for this age group, through the "My School" platform for the primary stage, and the "My Kindergarten" platform for the kindergarten stage.

He pointed to the integration of efforts between the Ministries of Education and Health in the regularity of the educational process for middle and secondary students who completed receiving two doses of the Corona vaccine, and the implementation of the precautionary measures and health protocols approved by "Prevention", which contributed to the protection of male and female students and maintaining their safety.
