The successful series

To All the Boys I've Loved Before

is getting a sequel from Netflix in the form of a series.

In the spin-off, the character Kitty Song Covey, the sister of main character Lara Jean, is followed.

The new series, consisting of ten half-hour episodes, will

be called

XO, Kitty

and is based on the films and the book series that Jenny Han wrote.

That makes



Anna Cathcart, who appeared in the teen films, will play Kitty again.

The story picks up where

To All The Boys: Always and Forever

ended and follows Kitty to South Korea, where she visits her boyfriend.

It is not yet clear when the new series will be shown.
