High school students from Nagano City who are engaged in soba making in club activities held an event to interact through soba making to celebrate Kiyoshi Fujisawa from Nagano City who won the silver medal in the wheelchair basketball of the Tokyo Paralympics.

This event was held in Togakushi, Nagano City, and was held by members of the "Soba Club" of Nagano Yoshida High School Togakushi Branch School.

When Fujisawa, who won the silver medal in the wheelchair basketball of the Tokyo Paralympics, visited the Togakushi Rural Environment Improvement Center at the venue, nine members of the Soba club from the first to third grades greeted him with applause.

Then, when the member who won the national tournament showed off the soba noodles, Fujisawa enthusiastically watched the soba noodles while taking pictures and asking questions.

After that, Fujisawa tasted the buckwheat noodles struck by the members.

After winning the silver medal, Fujisawa was asked what he wanted to do as a reward and answered, "I want to eat Togakushi soba." I'm glad to be able to eat it again. The soba that was enthusiastically beaten was very delicious. "

Yuzu Hasemori, the director of the soba club, said, "I was nervous about making soba noodles in front of Fujisawa. I'm glad to hear that it's delicious."
