This Tuesday morning, a heavy vehicle struck a Vinci security vehicle which was in intervention on the A85 motorway, in the direction of Angers (Maine-et-Loire).
This van was intervening for an operation of installation of panels when the collision occurred, in spite of the signaling devices “very visible” of the vehicle, reports Vinci in a press release.
This event brings to 31 the number of intervention vehicles struck on the Vinci Autoroutes network since the start of the year.
"Van collisions are often linked to episodes of drowsiness or a lack of attention on the part of the drivers at the origin of the accidents", deplores Vinci who considers that "an awareness of all motorists is absolutely necessary ”.
