“It feels so good to look at chrysanthemums. I thought there was no way to enjoy this beauty with other people, so I started handing out flowerpots.”

Kim Sa-bae (64), a farmer who has donated chrysanthemum flower pots to the Seongnae-myeon office in Gochang-gun, Jeollabuk-do for over 10 years, warms my heart.

It is said that Kim's beautiful sharing started by chance.

About 20 years ago, I received two chrysanthemum flowerpots as a gift from an acquaintance. As I was cutting them, the number and types of plants gradually increased.

In fact, the yard of Mr. Kim's house is filled with about 200 flowerpots of over 40 kinds, including chrysanthemums, chrysanthemums, and hydrangeas.

"I enjoy growing flowers more than climbing or fishing. Just looking at the flowers calms my mind."

Kim, who was growing flowers in full swing, suddenly thought it was a waste to see such a pretty flower alone.

It has been 10 years since I donated flower pots to the Myeon Office, Nonghyup, Senior Citizens' Hall, and Village Hall, thinking that if I put flowers in a place where people often pass, many people will be able to enjoy the joy of flowers.

Some town halls also beckon to Mr. Kim saying they want to receive a flowerpot.

An employee of the Seongnae-myeon office expressed his gratitude to Mr. Kim, saying, "Thanks to the flowerpots at the entrance of the myeon office, the atmosphere of autumn deepens every year.

Kim, who watches the flower pots without knowing the passage of time every day, hears bruises from his wife.

Watermelon farming, rice farming, and pepper farming.

Because they often neglect their work.

Kim showed a bright smile, saying, "I still like flowers, so I will continue to donate in the future."
