All these changes come from Ma Jincai's simple idea 27 years ago.

(At that time) there was a mountain apricot tree three centimeters thick in the contracted land, so I dug up the mountain and tried to plant it.
The tree survived after I planted it, and I felt confident in my heart and very happy after it had survived.
[Explanation] In 1994, Ma Jincai overcame all difficulties and planted the first mountain apricot tree.
He relied on a pole and several buckets to transport water for several kilometers every day on the hill without roads.
God rewards hard work, and under the care of Ma Jincai, this mountain apricot seedling finally survived miraculously.
Today, this tree has become Yuwangxia’s wishing tree.
From the survival of the first mountain apricot seedling to blooming to the green leaves of 8 elm saplings, Ma Jincai has been digging pits and planting trees, carrying water to keep alive, and greening the barren slopes of the north bank of Yuwang Canyon year after year. pass.

In total, I planted more than two hundred big trees, and about two thousand other trees survived.
There are also on the top of this mountain, and some are on the back of the mountain over there, where more than 800 acres of Caragana are planted.
[Explanation] To this day, the old man Ma Jincai has been here to keep the Yellow River green for 27 years. He has changed from a middle-aged man to an old man, and the thousands of saplings he planted are already flourishing.
In 2013, the construction of the Sanchuan Yellow River Hydraulic Scenic Spot in Minhe County started, and the Yuwang Gorge was effectively developed and constructed. Hundreds of acres of trees and plants such as Chinese locust tree, lint-free willow, four-season rose, and lilac were also planted here. Invested in the construction of lifting irrigation projects, speeding up the greening process.
And Ma Jincai was also absorbed by the management of the scenic spot as a forest tree, flower and grass caretaker.
From the first tree in the canyon to the lush greenery today, Ma Jincai, who has passed the ancient times, has witnessed the tremendous changes in the ecological environment on the banks of the Yellow River over the years.
