A famous Egyptian artist: Festival songs are more dangerous to us than “Corona”

Egyptian musician Helmy Bakr strongly criticized the popular "festivals" that have prevailed in recent years in the country, warning of their "dangerousness".

During the conference announcing the Arab Music Festival in its thirtieth edition, which is currently being held at the Opera House, Bakr said, according to the “Echo of the Country” website, that “festival songs are more dangerous to society than the Corona virus because it is the cause of corruption of youth and musical taste,” noting that “what is presented is not considered We are art, whether at the level of word or melodies, and what we hear has nothing to do with the high-end music that we were brought up with.”
