60 years ago, on October 17, 1961, thousands of men and women demonstrated in the Paris region, at the call of the French Federation of the FLN, against the curfew imposed on "French Muslims in Algeria" . Yesterday, Saturday October 16, 2021, French President Emmanuel Macron denounced " 

inexcusable crimes of the Republic

 ", to qualify the murderous repression of this demonstration. According to the official version, the death toll is three. Historians estimate that there were in fact several dozen deaths, at least. The descendants of the victims have been demanding recognition of a state crime by France for many years.
