In terms of food, who says poverty also means junk food, and in its wake, its train of bad news: diabetes, obesity, isolation ... Who says poverty also says that food will be the first adjustment variable, for the purposes months without anything.

But there are alternatives so that this vicious circle does not turn into inevitability: initiatives and solutions.

Dahl - sauce - lentil puree

Delicious, source of protein and nourishing!

For 6 persons

Preparation 15 minutes - Cooking 10 minutes

250g red lentils (or lentils of your choice) - 1 onion - 2 red peppers - 1 teaspoon of turmeric - 3 tablespoons of clarified butter (Ghee) - 1 tablespoon of cumin grains - salt

Rinse the red lentils.

Put them at the bottom of a small casserole dish, add water.

The water should exceed the lenses by 2 fingers.

Add the turmeric, the peeled and quartered onion, the chili.

Cover your pan and cook for 15/20 minutes - depending on the lentils chosen.

Once the lentils are cooked, heat two tablespoons of clarified butter in a small saucepan.

When the butter is hot, crackles and begins to smoke slightly, add the cumin.

The seeds should turn brown, remove from the heat and pour over your dahl.
