What is the use of youth organizations?

This is the question we are asking ourselves today on our show, on your show.

A National Youth Council exists in almost all African countries, especially in West Africa.

Its role is to bring the voice of young people to political decision-makers with proposals on all subjects of an economic, social or cultural nature that interest young people.

It is also the link between young people and public authorities.

Does it normally perform its functions without being instrumentalised?

Are youth organizations autonomous?
