At the microphone of Isabelle Morizet in the show "There is not only one life in life" on Saturday, the comedian and actor Bernard Campan looks back on his personal and professional career.

And in particular on the telephone hoaxes and the jokes of his childhood, which gave him the taste of the comedy which decided his beginning of career.

INTERVIEW

How did Bernard Campan, who is now thriving in the theater, detect the comic spirit that revealed him within the Unknowns?

A question that cannot be answered for sure.

But the actor brings funny elements of answer Saturday on Europe 1, on the occasion of his invitation in the emission of Isabelle Morizet

There is not only one life in the life

.

Bernard Campan, not a very good student, remembers having always known how to attract the admiration of his intellectual father by his schoolboy jokes.

"I humiliated a lot of friends"

In his childhood, he also devoted a lot to another type of humor. “I used to do a lot of hoaxes,” he recalls. "I had a cassette player, and the thing I thought about right away was making hoaxes and recording them. I taped the microphone on the return of the phone to get the voice of the person I was calling and it recorded my voice. "

Hoaxes already intended to be disseminated to its public at the time.

"I was making hoaxes by calling a friend's big brother, another friend's mother. And then I would make them listen to the tapes. I would tell my friends that when their brother would tell them he had won 20 kilos of Nesquik for example, they had to make them listen to my tape. So I humiliated a lot of friends around me like that, "he smiles.

A Michoko with a ... strange taste

But the young Bernard Campan did not always hide behind a telephone and a radio cassette player. "I made my childhood neighbor, Pascal, eat rabbit poop. Who is not Pascal Légitimus. I had two Michokos, one where there was no poop and another where I had inserted rabbit poop, "recalls the actor. "I had thrown the chocolate well so that it wouldn't show. I eat my Michoko in front of him and offer him one."

But the joke doesn't exactly take the turn imagined by the budding comedian.

"He eats it, but he doesn't spit it out. He swallows it. He tells me it was good. I explain it to him. And there, he has a retching and he goes away", laughs even today Bernard Campan.

"A quarter of an hour later, her mother rang at my parents' door to complain."

Bernard Campan's childhood friend will not have been ill following this atypical tasting to say the least.
