From 7:00 on October 16, 2021 to 7:00 on October 17, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region reported no new suspected cases and asymptomatic infections, and 1 new local confirmed case (in Erlianhot City).
The confirmed case in Erenhot City was a close contact of the case reported on October 13 (centralized isolation medical observation personnel). The nucleic acid test of the new coronavirus was positive. After consultation with the medical treatment expert group, it was diagnosed as a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia.
It has been transferred to a designated hospital in Erlianhot for isolation and treatment.
As of 7:00 on October 17, 2021, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region currently has 4 imported confirmed cases, 1 imported Fuyang case (in Ulanhot City, Xing'an League), and 2 confirmed local cases (in Erlianhot City), all at designated locations Hospitals are isolated and treated. All close contacts are quarantined in designated places for medical observation. Closed-loop management is implemented throughout the entire process to prevent the spread of the epidemic.
