INTERVIEW

On the occasion of the release of his new autobiographical book

Elle ne me never left

published by Robert Laffont, Dominique Farrugia, comedian, director, actor, film producer, director of the Comédie channel was the guest on the show "La Table des bon vivant".

A great fan of cooking, Dominique Farrugia delivered his culinary secrets to the microphone of Europe 1 this Saturday.

"I find it unfortunate that there is no longer a kitchen TV channel"

Cradled by gastronomy from a young age, Dominique Farrugia is also at the origin of the creation of the Cuisine TV channel, which has long become a reference in cuisine, whose disappearance many listeners regret. "When we created Cuisine TV in the early 2000s, the Internet was not yet there. For me, this channel had to match what we could give on the Internet, but the person who was in charge of this channel m 'had said that putting recipes online would swallow up the channel. Today, Marmiton is in the lead and Cuisine TV no longer exists, "he regrets.

The aim of this chain was to make cooking accessible, as Dominique Farrugia explains.

"I find it unfortunate that we no longer have a channel dedicated to cooking. What I really miss is seeing people making a simple and delicious recipe in front of me," he explains.

Always in the spirit of simplicity and generosity, Dominique Farrugia recalled that this cuisine can be found today but only in bistros.

"The best cuisine is that of the bistro because at the three Michelin stars I get bored" he said.
