At the Pointe de la Douane in Venice in Italy, one of the museums of the Pinault Foundation, a monograph is devoted to the American artist Bruce Naumann.

Golden Lion of the Venice Biennale, Naumann is not for all that a mainstream artist.

His radical approach favors the process of making the work over the final object and aesthetics.

The exhibition focuses on performances that he has been repeating for several years around the Contrapposto, (the Counter-pose), a figure of ancient sculpture and which gives its title to the exhibition.
