Repairing, inventing, recycling, everyday life in Cuba often calls upon the D system. Sign both of a failure of the State and of a marvel of Cuban ingenuity.

This resourcefulness concerns all aspects of daily life.

For lack of money or in the face of shortages, Cubans repair and recycle in spite of themselves.

But the young generation intends to put meaning and ecology behind these gestures.
