  At 13:38 on the 13th, when the typhoon "Compasses" struck, the Zhanjiang Maritime Search and Rescue Center received a dangerous report saying that the merchant ship "Mingguang X" located in the waters off the west coast of the Leizhou Peninsula had three crew members on board at 10 a.m. Xu Fang was accidentally injured during the fight against the typhoon. Two of them were seriously injured and urgently needed medical treatment.

  After receiving the report, the Zhanjiang Maritime Search and Rescue Center immediately activated the emergency plan, learned about the condition of the wounded through the phone with the ship in distress, and asked them to take self-rescue measures; at the same time, they coordinated Zhanjiang Maritime Affairs, Nanhai Rescue, Zhanjiang Maritime Police, Zhanjiang Fishery Administration and other forces to provide rescue.   At 18:15 on the 13th, the wind in the incident waters gradually weakened, and the Zhanjiang Offshore Search and Rescue Center immediately coordinated the CNOOC Zhanjiang Operation Company "Nanhai 222" vessel anchored in nearby waters to transfer the injured crew members.

At about 21:40, the "Nanhai 222" arrived in the waters near the "Mingguang X" ship, but the wind at the scene reached 7-8, gust 9 and the wave height was 3 meters. After many efforts, the "Nanhai 222" was unable to And rely on ships in distress.

  At 9 o'clock on the 14th, the wind in the waters of the incident weakened to about level 7, and "South China Sea 222" successfully relied on the ship in distress, transferred the three wounded to the ship, and sailed to the shore of Leizhou coast.

At 10 o'clock, the three wounded were finally transferred ashore and sent to the hospital by ambulance for treatment.
