Sharjah Film Festival for Children takes school students on a journey through the cultures of the world

The Sharjah International Film Festival for Children and Youth, organized by the Fun Foundation, which is concerned with promoting and supporting media art for children and young people, continued its tour between the country’s schools, where yesterday, Wednesday, the students took a journey through cultures from different countries of the world, through 12 short films, most notably “Tulip” and “Tulip”. The Big Little Man, "Just a Child" and "A Sweet Taste of Darkness", along with the feature film "Running Against the Wind".

His film screenings, presented on his electronic platform, succeeded in gathering followers and viewers from different countries of the world, as school students watched the shows in conjunction with their peers and a large audience of viewers from inside and outside the UAE.

On its closing day, Friday, Friday, the festival will screen 10 short films, a feature film and a documentary film. The main cinema will host six short films that deal with human reality from the point of view of children.

One of the most prominent short films is the movie "Pencil", which takes place in Singapore in the nineties, and tells the story of two school girls whose friendship is challenged as a result of a dispute over values.

It is noteworthy that the eighth session of the Sharjah International Film Festival for Children and Youth, organized by the Fun Foundation to support and promote media art for children and young people, presented 80 films from 38 Arab and foreign countries, including 6 films that were shown for the first time globally, 35 films were shown for the first time in the Middle East, and 4 films were presented for the first time in the Middle East. In the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, in addition to 4 films for the first time in the UAE, the festival will conclude its activities on Friday, October 15.
