After understanding, a total of 5 middle school students (2 men and 3 women) played hand in hand at Sandu Wharf that night. The waves caused 4 people (1 man and 3 women) to fall into the water, and 2 of them (1 man and 1 woman) had been rescued by the masses.

  After the incident, Sandu Town immediately organized more than 40 cadres in towns and villages and more than 10 ships, and cooperated with Sandu police station, island troops and other departments to carry out search and rescue operations.

The main leaders of Jiaocheng District also led the emergency, marine and fishery, education and other departments to the scene to command search and rescue at the first time.
