On the 13th, in a case where three people were stabbed by a knife and died in a house in Niihama City, Ehime Prefecture, it was found that the victim had visited the police twice and consulted about the suspect.

Police said, "We have taken the necessary steps."

On the evening of the 13th, at a house in Niihama City, Ehime Prefecture, Kenichi Iwata (51) and three of his 80-year-old parents died after being stabbed with a knife. Satoshi (53) has been arrested on suspicion of violating the Firearms and Swords Act and is being investigated in detail.

In connection with the incident, police revealed that Mr. Iwata had visited the police station twice in September and November, and had consulted with him, saying, "The suspect has told me to stop the attack."

At this time, the police verbally warned and instructed the suspect, "Don't unilaterally say that there is no evidence," and also provided information to the health center.

Police also received a 110th call from the victim last month saying, "I'm rushing to my house and saying that I don't understand," but the suspect didn't have a knife, so I verbally avoid rushing to my house. It means that I was only careful and instructed.

The Ehime Prefectural Police Headquarters commented on the series of measures, such as "I think we have taken necessary measures. We would like to clarify the whole picture in future investigations."
