Construction of the rail yard of the Linear Chuo Shinkansen began on the 14th in Nakatsugawa City, Gifu Prefecture, and the people concerned prayed for the safety of the construction.

Construction began at the "Chubu General Vehicle Base" on the Linear Chuo Shinkansen.

About 50 people, including JR Central and local officials, gathered at the planned construction site in the Sendanbayashi district in the mountains of Nakatsugawa City to pray for the safety of the construction.

After that, Mr. Kenichi Niimi, Executive Officer of Central Japan Railway Company, said, "We would like to proceed with the construction in cooperation with the local community, considering the environment as well as the safety of the construction."



Next, Mayor Setsuji Aoyama of Nakatsugawa City said, "It is a big advantage for Gifu Prefecture and Nakatsugawa City. I want to lead to regional revitalization such as employment expansion and tourism promotion."



The "Chubu General Vehicle Base" is about 2 km east of "Gifu Prefecture Station", which is scheduled to be constructed. According to JR Central, the area is about 50 hectares, and in addition to inspection and maintenance, a vehicle assembly plant is also constructed. It is a plan to be done.
