From the 14th to the 17th, affected by the strong cold air, the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and the area to the north will have winds of 4 to 6 from north to south, and gusts of 7 to 9 in some parts of the north; the temperature drops by 6 to 10℃ , The temperature drop in some areas can reach 12~16℃.

Typhoon "Compasses" will affect the southeast coastal area

  This year’s No. 18 typhoon "Compasses" has been strengthened from a severe tropical storm level to a typhoon level at 5 o'clock in the morning today (13th). The maximum wind force nearby is 12 levels (33 m/s), and the lowest air pressure in the center is 970 hPa.

  It is expected that the "compass" will move to the west at a speed of 25-30 kilometers per hour, and its intensity will increase. It will land on the coast from Wenchang to Lingshui in Hainan from the afternoon to the evening of the 13th, and the landing intensity will be typhoon-level. (Level 12 to 13, 33 to 40 m/s) (see Figure 1).

After landing, the intensity gradually weakened, passing through Hainan Island, moving into the Beibu Gulf in the early morning of the 14th, and then towards northern Vietnam.

Stronger cold air will affect most of our country

Specific forecasts for the next three days

There were moderate to heavy rains in parts of southern Huanghuai, Jianghuai, central and southeast Jiangnan, southeastern Yunnan, southwestern and eastern China, central and northern Hainan Island, and Taiwan Island. Among them, local heavy rain (50-80 mm) .

In some areas of central Inner Mongolia, there are 4 to 5 winds (see Figure 4).

There were moderate to heavy rains in parts of southern Huanghuai, Jianghuai, southern coastal areas of South China, and Hainan Island. Among them, there were heavy rains (50-60 mm) in central Anhui and other places (see Figure 5).
