The Tokyo District Public Prosecutor's Office has not prosecuted the former Juryo Takagenji of the sumo wrestler, who was sent documents for possessing cannabis at his home in Tokyo.
Former Juryo Takagenji (24) was filed last month on suspicion of violating the Cannabis Control Law for possessing cannabis at his home condominium in Tokyo.
According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, after generally admitting the suspicion to any questioning, he said, "I used it to relieve stress."
As a result of the investigation, the Tokyo District Public Prosecutor's Office has dismissed Takagenji Satoshi by the 13th.
The prosecution has not disclosed the reason for the disposition.
