It has been 14 days and a week since the earthquakes that observed strong shaking with a seismic intensity of 5 or higher occurred in Tokyo and Saitama.

In Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture, where a seismic intensity of 4 was observed, the water pipe bridge and water pipe bridge over the river were damaged, but a prefecture survey revealed that the cause was corrosion due to aging deterioration of the bolts at the connection part.

In the earthquake that occurred one week ago at 10:40 pm on the 7th of this month, the epicenter was in the northwestern part of Chiba prefecture. A little less than 5 were observed in Tokyo, Saitama, Chiba, and Kanagawa prefectures.

In Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture, where a seismic intensity of 4 was observed, the water pipe bridge and water pipe bridge over the Yoro River were damaged and water spouted out.

After that, Chiba Prefecture was investigating the cause, but according to the prefecture, it was found that the corrosion due to aging of the metal bolts that fix the connection part of the water pipe seems to be the cause of the damage.

It has been more than 40 years since this aqueduct was installed in 1980, and the prefecture inspected other aqueducts installed before 1985, which may be aging, in detail, and if there are any abnormalities, I will take measures.
