  According to monitoring, this year’s No. 18 typhoon "Compasses" has been strengthened to a typhoon level at 05:00 on the 13th. The center is located at 19.1 degrees north latitude and 113.1 degrees east longitude at 07:00, which is about 285 kilometers east of Wanning City, Hainan Province. On the surface of the South China Sea, the maximum wind force near the center is 12 (33 m/s).
